Digital painting.
Digital painting is a new form of numerical art in which the traditional techniques of painting, such as the watercolour, oils, the impasto, are applied using numerical tools thanks to a computer. Numerical painting differs from the other forms of numerical art, in particular the art generated by computer, because it does not imply that the computer is based on a model. The artist employs techniques of painting to create numerical painting directly on the computer.
Fractale.
Fractale or fractal (less used male name) is the name of a curve or surfaces of irregular or parcelled out form which is created while following given rules. The term “fractale” is a neologism created by Benoît Mandelbrot in 1974 starting from the Latin root fractus, which means broken, irregular.
